About Abir Sadek:

As an educational professional, with a Masters of Education in Special Education, Inclusion and Early Intervention, I am committed to and substantially experienced in the holistic development of all children, especially those with special needs. I possess comprehensive knowledge and insight of disability and experience in the provision of effective curriculum and pedagogy to support students. With extensive experience in special development environment, I demonstrated my ability to achieve outstanding outcomes for my students in line with the Victorian DET’s Principles for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and VCAA’s Achievement Standards. I am a team player and work collaboratively with colleagues, families, school learning support officers, external agencies and the wider school community.

Experience

PERSONAL SKILLS:

• Employed diverse techniques to promote active learning including individualized instruction, problem solving activities and small group work. Exercised flexibility within the classroom addressing students’ needs through special accommodations. 
• Consulted teachers on modifications and accommodations to instructions and materials ensuring the diverse needs of every student are successfully realized.
• Actively involved in students’ behavioral, social and academic development, aiding students in developing emotionally, feeling comfortable in social situations and awareness of socially acceptable behavior.
• I am keen to impart knowledge and learn while working. I don’t believe in forceful teaching and would like to implement the concepts of teaching in a more interesting manner.
