Adewale Yusuf

I have many years’ experience in the field of graphic design and visual communications including print production with many years of formal and informal art training. This experience has prepared me for a job in the creative/art and graphic direction. I attended government technical college and sat for City and Guide of London Institute in 1992 and received my diploma in graphics/visual communications with wide knowledge in print production, but major in graphics after my secondary school education. After working for several years in the advertising agencies and printing industries as a senior artist I later went  to study fine-art double major at the Federal Government of Education, department of fine-art and vocational training where I got more exposed to different form of art (general art) with major in graphic design 2006.

My professional experience comes from both full and freelance work along with large company and a big account which has afforded me the opportunity to work with many clients in varied settings on many different types of project.

My experience in the field consists of six years as a senior designer at Academy Press Plc, five years as a Creative Head at Harmonee Concepts Ltd., five years as an art director at 360 degrees Limited.

Adewale has been in the graphic design industry more years than he would care to say. He has experience working with a large client base, in both advertising, print and publishing that span various brands and industries to the audiences.

Highly experienced at creating brands and campaigns that make use of a wide variety of mediums – often pushing the boundaries of the brief and encouraging the integration of developing technologies, print processes and strategies. ‘Wale has a focus on attention to detail and insuring creative concepts flow through throughout a campaign.

These experience have provided me with the knowledge base to excel in such creative environment as a visualizer, creative/graphic artist for print, promotional items, photo manipulating using adobe Photoshop.

I am highly motivated individual who has had superb mentorship and gained from every opportunity that I have taken on. In my experience I have learned the importance of ‘team’ and the value of having a good leader. I have confidence and experience to lead a team and would also welcome the opportunity to work and learned from those in the field to enhance my knowledge. I believe the blending of my artistic talents, computer and positive attitudes make me an important asset to any company looking for a creative design artist.
