Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of the Engineering department & verify completion of all routine maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior of the building, fire alarm & firefighting,
hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen equipment, lighting, air conditioning, chillers, FAHU, water
treatment systems, swimming pools and all hotel equipment (Mechanical and electrical) .
• Maintain the Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for: - mechanical and electrical equipment and systems –
fire safety systems - civil structural aspects and furniture.
• Perform daily checks around the hotel.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Engineering for the health
and safety of the hotel.
•Assists the chief engineer to compile the yearly capital expenditure plan including the property maintenance
and utilities budget and energy conservation programs.
• look for more cost-effective solutions to manage expenses and reduce energy consumption.
