I am a responsible, sincere and efficient person, interested in sustainability and environmental services. I am a task-oriented person and have been known to approach my goals with great diligence. Besides, I have also been known to bring creative and innovative approaches and ideas to the fore, along with executing assigned tasks smoothly and with little support.

My professional experience, alongside my academic qualifications, underscores my commitment to Sustainability. In terms of research, recently, I authored a comprehensive report for a Dubai-based restaurant called BOCA, evaluating their benchmarking sustainability practices and ESG commitment. Additionally, my publication with the London Borough of Islington, ‘Active Travel & Urban Planning on Regent’s Canal,’ examines the impact of behaviour change interventions on cyclists, highlighting my commitment to sustainable transportation solutions. In terms of project management, as an Evaluation Officer at Sustrans, London, I manage the monitoring of sustainable infrastructure projects across London and Scotland. Beyond that, in my previous role as a Zero Emissions Officer with Cross River Partnership London, I coordinated the supplier logistics and marketing collaterals for the UK Department of Environment-funded Clean Air for London Logistics (CALL) Project, collected data for the development of an interactive online tool called the Thames River Directory, and liaised with London Boroughs of Lambeth & Southwark for a last-mile logistics hub project in Brixton. My efforts on the CALL project were directed towards enhancing river freight operations while mitigating traffic congestion and air pollution in the heart of London. 

Whether it is communicating with clients or collaborating with key stakeholders, I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration. Prior to my postgraduate degree, I worked at Emirates NBD as a Sustainability Consultant where I designed employee engagement programs, leveraged social media to promote sustainability, and engaged stakeholders to support the Dubai Can initiative, resulting in a bank-wide ban on single-use plastic water bottles. As a committee member of the Women's Council, I actively participated in initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of female employees, emphasising the importance of diversity and inclusion in sustainability efforts.

Furthermore, my internships at organisations like Sharjah Research and Technology Innovation Park, Emirates Environmental Group & Arabia CSR Network allowed me to gain valuable insights into business development, market research, and corporate outreach within the sustainability sector. These experiences honed my networking and research skills, equipping me with the tools to identify sustainable business solutions.

I hold an MSc. in Environment, Politics, and Development from King’s College London and a B.A. in International Relations and Environmental Policy from the American University of Sharjah.
