Alvin has successfully achieved the managing construction supervision of notable Mega Iconic Projects in UAE & Qatar such as Route EXPO 2020 Dubai, Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA) New Road Projects – RAK – Sharjah Emirates, Etihad Museum Dubai, Residential Apartment in Dubai, Oasis Hospital Al Ain, Al Ain Football Stadium, Al Raha Beach Al Zeina Abu Dhabi, Musanada Public School Abu Dhabi, Al Dar WorkForce Community Accommodation Abu Dhabi, Public Mosques Abu Dhabi, VIP Palace Abu Dhabi, UAE University in Al Ain, 36 Floor Ezdan Hotel & Apartment 4 Tower Al Dafna in Qatar, 34 Floor Zigzag Twin Tower West Bay Lagoon Plaza in Qatar, 52 Floor Navigation Tower in Qatar, 57 Floor Twin Palm Tower in Qatar, and numerous Major Roads & Highway, Bridges and Civil Infrastructure Project in Qatar/UAE, Philippines, and the Republic of Macao.

He has excellent construction site exposure experience from Enabling, Geotechnical, Shoring, Dewatering, Piling, Foundations, Structural, Road Infrastructure & Utilities, Public Realm / Landscaping, Bridges, Superstructure, RC & Structural Steel, Post-Tension Slab, Flat Slab, Ribbed Slab, Pre-cast concrete, External Utilities, Hard & Soft Landscaping & Water Features, Swimming Pools, MEP’s, Aluminium external cladding, External glazing, and other related Architectural Finishes & Fit-Outs Work. 

With his broad, comprehensive experience, he developed his management and leadership skills, together with the necessary ability to deal and interact with the Client, design teams, and contractors. In addition, his familiarity in the Middle East (UAE, QATAR) and international countries (Macau, Hong Kong, Philippines) provide effective work to lead a project and his multi-cultural team to meet client expectations and deadlines.

Alvin has 29 years of overall experience in Civil Infrastructure & Building Industry projects for 15 years in UAE and 14 years in Qatar & Asian countries. He’s an experienced Resident Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in construction management & supervision of projects. He has skilled in Negotiation, Analytical Skills, Management, Teamwork, and Leadership. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering graduated from the University of the Assumption in 1994, Philippines. With sound knowledge of US-UK, Middle-East, and international construction codes and standards. An advocate of health, safety, and environmental matters. Able to build strong and successful stakeholder working relationships. He has RTA-Dubai client approval for both Building & Civil Infrastructure, including (MOPA-Abu Dhabi) with his recent projects in Dubai / RAK & Abu Dhabi.

Recently led the successful site supervision and handover of the Route EXPO 2020 - RTA road infrastructure projects interface with Dubai Metro with Parsons-Systra JV before he relocated for the construction of Road & Bridge between Wadi Al Qawr Area and Link Road Between Al Habib R/A And Nazwa Road in Ras Al Khaima - MOPA (Ministry of Presidential Affairs) projects. 

In 2017, Studio International Engineering Consultant hired him and successfully managed the project supervision from inception to handover completion of a Low-Rise Apartment Building for Al Ghurair Real Estate Project in the city of Dubai as a Resident Engineer/Project Manager and reporting to his Sr. Project Director.

Further to that, he also works with Maisam Architects Engineering Consultant as Resident Engineer in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, for the construction management and supervision of VVIP Private PALACE belongs to a Royal Families in Abu Dhabi. 

Halcrow International/CH2M hired him in 2019 as a Resident Engineer for Civil Structural to lead the construction and management supervision of Etihad Museum in Dubai, comprised of demolition to restore original gardens of Historic Buildings Union House in Jumeirah 1, Dubai. 

One of his remarkable achievements in 2010 to 2013, where he developed his career, is the construction of the New OASIS Hospital project in Al Ain as a Resident Engineer from enabling to project completion with the well-known a leading international Project Management Engineering Consultancy firm CDG-Peddle Thorp Architects JV, the project comprised of a 270-bed hospital with the best medical and equipment technology, services compound, medical gas compound, ambulance garage, medical gases, and massive MEP services is a challenging role.

His notable projects working with PELL Frichmann Consultant from 2008 is the Al Raha Beach Development - Al Zeina as a Resident Engineer in Abu Dhabi, for the mix-used development containing luxury Residential mid-rise apartments, Townhouses and Villas, private boat moorings, retail high street with local supermarket and shops, and waterside restaurants. Accordingly, he’s also redeployed to handle multiple projects such as the Refurbishment of Musanada Blanket Public-School Projects in Abu Dhabi.

He landed in UAE in 2006 to joined with GHD Global Pty Ltd for the supervision of the mixed-used development of the New UAE University project in Al Ain. The project was a large-scale mix-used development of a new campus in Al Ain with an area of 280,000m²; it consists of educational facilities, a mosque, and sport and residences accommodation, and it was built in four-phase. 

Before his relocation to UAE, he works for 10 years in Qatar for a leading international Engineering Consultancy firm, MZ Architects & Partners, and City Group Design Engineering Consultant. He gained a diversity of senior positions while working with the Design & Supervision team for delivering mixed-used development and iconic landmarks & innovative high-rise buildings, and Civil Infrastructure projects.

In addition with his experience as a Senior Role position in Asian countries for leading international contractors, Top Builders Group International in Macau, & Philippine National Construction Corporation for the Mega Infrastructure Project Underground Bus Terminal, Stadiums, Roads, and Bridges in Macau, and the Philippines.

With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and graduated from a recognized University in the Philippines in 1994. He is a member of the Society of Engineers (SOE) in UAE, American Society of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers Institute of ASCE, and Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers.
