About Anil Gupta:

Hello HR Manager,

I am a self-motivated CA Anil Gupta. I have 17 years of working experience including 15 years after my Chartered Accountancy from India. I am currently working in Dubai as a Head of Finance for the last three years.

I was born in a joint business family and learned some basic skills in growing age with the family environment like Teamwork, Dealing with different mindsets of people, and optimum use of the available resources.

In my 17 years of work journey, I got a chance to work in Mumbai India, Brazil, Oman, Dubai, and in deputation for a few months in Trinidad & Tobago, Qatar, and Angola. This journey expands my view to see common things in all human beings across the globe. Now I have lots of experience stories of problems and their solutions, Success and failure, happiness and sad movement, and business and social requirements.

I support the management team in working on Finance and Accounts that including 

  1. Periodic various Management Information Reports
  2. IFRS Financial Statement and their audit
  3. Account Receivable and Payable improvement.
  4. Budgeting and Variance Analysis & Inventory Control
  5. Simulation of revenue in a different model to better understand before quoting in a tender.
  6. Banking operation and negotiation with banks on Trade Credit facilities.
  7. Implement and constantly review Internal Controls for error-free work. 
  8. Boost the team to come out with their fullest quality of output.

Currently, I am spending my time on an Extensive learning workshop on Transfer Pricing organized by ICAI Dubai in connection with Corporate Tax UAE. Practical work on reports automation through POWER BI. I am actively participating in conferences, events, and classes organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants to keep myself updated.

Finance Functions: 

  • Manage Accounts Receivable with great efficiency for improving the Accounts Receivable Ratio less than prevailing in the industry.
  • Dealing and Negotiation with International Banks for the credit facilities availed. 
  • Cash flow management and Budget for optimum utilization of funds.
  • Maintaining good relations with Customers, Suppliers, and Bankers for uninterrupted workflow.

Accounting Functions: 

Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the books and records. Ensure regular review of account reconciliations including follow-up and timely closure of open items

  • Develop an effective invoicing and inventory control system with full control.
  • Discussion with the statutory auditor for completion of Audit and Report.
  • Prepare IFRS/IAS Financial Statement.
  • Managing all import clearance work at the best rate for the company.
  • Work with the consultant for obtaining and renewing of National In-Country Value (ICV) Certificate with the maximum available marks.
  • In-house VAT filing and VAT registration as a Tax Group 
  • Periodic and Ad Hoc reports to management

Commercial Functions 

Tender Documents

  • Support the marketing team with Tax implications, profitability, and other factors connecting with tender submission.
  • Work with the marking manager in drafting Notes to Price for the Quote.

Warehouse Project & Administrative Functions

  • Work with top management from initializing to completion of warehouse project that includes Land finalization, contractor work award, budgets, cost tracking, monitoring, and fund management.
  • Set the procedure for periodic inventory count and error-free delivery and play a focal point in all inventory movement (In/Out) through software package only.
  • Defining KPIs and monitoring team’s performance to efficiency in progress.
  • Boost and motivate employees to execute tasks independently.
