Aparna Mottemmal

I have 4 years  and 6 months of teaching experience at primary level at GEMS Winchester school in Dubai-UAE, from 2018 until July 2022. I am a post graduate in French (MA) and my degree is also in French (BA) from Pondicherry University. I also have an iPgCTP - International Professional Graduate Certificate in Teaching Practice from Liverpool Hope University, UK. I have also acquired a teaching license from KHDA.

I was teaching year 3 and year 4 students and have also taught Year 5 students in previous years. I was handling 21 different sections in these two-year groups, which also includes lesson preparation, resources, projects, quizzes, correcting notebooks, communicating to parents emails, rewards points to students, progress tests, reports. I also prepare curriculum overview every term and other pastoral duties.

I am looking forward for better opportunities and would strive to learn and execute various new strategies for the betterment of my students. Thank you.

• Long Term Plan (LTP) and curriculum overview for grade 3, 4 and 5.
• Mid Term Plan (MTP) Preparation, curriculum overview, preparing questions on forms for assessments, feedbacks, activities, projects, generating report on the database, communicating with parents by email or online PTM's, blended learning.
• Responsible for preparation of teaching Resources for Grade III, IV students, PPT’s, differentiation for (EAL students, SEN students, Emirati students, lower ability students, medium ability students, higher ability students, gifted and talented students)
• Teaching by using various applications like TEAMS, One Note, Seesaw, Kahoot, Quizizz, Quizlet, and Polly.
• Preparing French Display Boards including student work.
• Conduct Assessment methods on Paper and Google Forms
• Hybrid & Blended Teaching Methods, Strategies and Techniques to help Students for better Language skills and Results.
• Positive Student-Teacher relationship and co-operation with parents on a daily basis.
• From Current Academic Year I am teaching STEAM lessons for Grade 4 students and 2 hours of Enrichment Activity for Grade 3 students every week.

2018 -  iPgCTP - International Professional Graduate Certificate in Teaching Practice – Level 6, TELLAL Institute, Dubai. 

The above includes a teacher training route which leads to the UAE License from KHDA to Teach examination and a National Vocational Qualification.
