Desire a Challenging Position working with younger children as a Head/Deputy Head in Early Years/Elementary setting/Primary setting.

I am an outgoing, ambitious, and confident individual, whose passion for teaching is equally matched by experience in it. I worked in GEMS school for 7 years. I developed as a Deputy Head from a teacher, to a phase lead for 3 years. Overall, I have 15 years teaching experience.

I was selected as one amongst 80 outstanding teachers/middle leaders from over 11000 teachers in GEMS as an Outstanding Teacher. I had the opportunity to present ‘Play Based Learning Workshop’ at GEMS Awareness Day. 

I worked as a Professional Learning and Development Leader’ and was a Phase Leader (KS2) Grade 1 and 2. I also worked as a Phase Leader for (KS2) Grade 3 and 4. Took the responsibility as the Head of Primary Assessment. I looked after data for all grades from 1 to 5. I was a part of the Teaching and Learning Team. I was involved in planning, monitoring, coaching and quality assuring procedures.

I have been on GEMS Internal Review Team and been a part of the assessing team. I am involved in regular lesson observation cycles and ensuring good practices are highlighted. 

Currently, I am working as a Deputy Head in Early Years. Roles and responsibility- Assessment, Teaching and Learning, Quality Assurance, Curriculum Planning and Innovation Lead. I have been actively involved in major decision-making and have been contributing towards the betterment of the school, bearing in mind, the mission and vision of the school leaders. I am involved in parental workshops as well teachers’ PD workshops. 

One of my main skills is developing an effective staff team whose primary focus is to secure the best possible outcomes for students. On a personal level, I am passionate about raising achievement, strong willed, resilient and have the ability to empower staff. My experiences have not only equipped me to have the capacity to respond positively to the changing educational environment, but also to being an exemplary practitioner who is committed to playing a key role in the leadership and management of the whole school. 

I have led in various areas such as Innovation, Assessments, After School Activities, Recruitment, Curriculum planning, effective PDs, workshops, events and many more. I was personally involved in creating EYFS Curriculum and adapting it to the needs of our students. I created a reading strategy for young children where children could select a book from a book cart. This was exciting for the little ones. I have developed assessment system for KG1. I have been in charge of data analysis and it is one of my strengths. One of my focus areas is to use data to inform learning and planning.

Right now, I am looking for an excellent career developmental opportunity with a school that has a culture that appreciates and rewards excellence. I am qualified and dedicated early childhood teacher and elementary/Primary leader, who is passionate about contributing to the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of young children. I have led in various areas such as Innovation, Assessments, After School Activities, Recruitment, Curriculum planning, effective PDs, workshops, events and many more. The reason I am an educator, is to develop students’ character, to be successful in their lives and careers. Child’s safety, wellbeing and happiness is my utmost priority. I am always looking for opportunities to develop their soft and life skills.  Finally, to sum it up, I am an enthusiastic, creative and caring, versed in learning theories and practices, and seeking to provide exceptional quality teaching and care in an energetic team environment.
