1. Incoming raw/packaging material and product labels inspections to ensure that the materials received are correct and its of standard specifications.

2. Ensure raw materials & packaging, in process and final inspection, testing are carried out and recorded according to procedures.

3. Inspection of finished goods, packaging and labelling.

4. Production in-line quality control checks, equipment inspection, including calibration of QC test equipment such as pH, weighing scales, thermometers, etc.

5. Communicate with relevant departments and ensure product manufactured complies with specifications and ensure production records and proper filing of relevant documents.

6. packaging integrity test.

7. Making rounds at production floor to ensure workers are adhering.

8. Perform chemical analysis and records for incoming, in process and finished product.

9. Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory.

10. Prepare additives for production such as preservatives, acidulants, flavours, etc.

11. Other Quality Control duties given by department head.
