• proper Stocking of materials by using appropriate safety method of care and  preservation to avoid any damage.

• keep up to date records of  receipts, records, and  withdrawals from the  stockroom.
• Ensure that stock is regularly checked and monitored for product expiry and  that first in and first out is being  practiced.
• Reporting in a timely manner to the purchase department regarding any inventory  item that has reached low level of stock.
• Make periodical checks between records and actual stock and investigate any discrepancies and report to the cost controller immediately.
