I earned my Bachelor of Commerce degree in Tourism Management from Pearson Institute of Higher Education (now called Eduvos) in Cape Town, South Africa. I studied topics such as tourism operations, destination management, tourism marketing, hospitality management, events management, and sustainable tourism practices. The coursework included practical aspects such as managing tourism businesses, understanding customer behavior in tourism, and developing strategies to promote tourism destinations. In my final year I undertook the Galileo Global Distribution Systems (GDS) course and a certificate in Airfares and Ticketing to enhance my skills in travel and tourism management. To further my education, I pursued a Holistic Life Coach and Mind-Body Practitioner Diploma from the MindBodyFood Institute in Melbourne, Australia. I learned how to support individuals to achieve balance and wellness by addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their health. The curriculum covered areas such as nutrition, mindfulness, stress management, holistic healing modalities, and coaching methodologies.
