A little something about myself:

For the majority of the last ten years, I have been working diligently alongside children of all school ages, in various educational settings, in Dubai. Due to my extensive experience, I am applying for a governess/tutor position as I am confident that I will be a valuable addition to your staff.

Firstly, I have been fortunate to work in the American school where I had graduated from years before. I am proud to have been able to enrich the minds of the young students I worked with, just as my mind was enriched while I was a student. Also, I have homeschooled 3 children simultaneously, of three different grade levels, preparing each lesson plan accordingly, including all school subjects, the English language, and supplementary subjects and interests. Lastly, I have also tutored grade school upto the IB curriculum.

Uniquely, I have been able to work in a company that strengthens cognition through a specialized program, in which my students were anywhere between the ages of 6 and 60; I worked closely with children who were diagnosed to be on the spectrum.

However, as a hands-on governess/tutor, with a focus on education, I feel that I have the “can-do attitude” to foster children into setting their goals and completing them with pride. My most recent role was a governess to two children in which I would tutor them in their school subjects, take care of their daily needs, schedule their day-to-day activities, liaison with their parents, and more.

In all my experiences, I have been able to teach a lot but also learn a lot from the various children. Outside the scope of education, I love getting to know the children on a personal level, so that, not only is their education taken care of, but so is their emotional well-being. I feel that being relatable is essential in all my interactions with the children and parents alike. Clear communication is always made a priority as I discuss and manage academics, behavior, daily schedules, and activities.

My experience in education, personal skills, and unique qualities make me a reliable candidate. I am excited to welcome the opportunity to contribute to your children’s growth and development. I am eager to connect with you further.
