Move Consultant (International Moving)

• Receiving inquiries, conducting pre-move surveys for local and international moves for all corporate accounts as well as walk in clients, if required.
• Preparing local (residences and offices) and international (import/ export) quotations.
• Verify quotes and tailoring it based on client’s and corporate requirements.
• Single point of contact liaising with clients/ account to follow up on quotations, advising updates on shipments, obtaining required documentation and authorization, and clarifying any questions or concerns throughout the move, while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Source lower rates from suppliers, freight as well as destination agents.
• Hand over all confirmed moves to the operations coordinator with clear and complete instructions of the customer’s requirements and survey results.
• Coordinating the work schedule of the sales and operations department.
• Job site visits to ensure the move is going smoothly and according to client’s expectations.
• Handling complaints and ensure we follow the right course of action and settle any disputes in the most amicable manner and within the shortest span of time.
• Liaising with Insurance brokers to settle claims that are not settled in a timely fashion and holding monthly meeting to review the pending claims.
• Completing weekly sales reports of confirmed, lost and pending jobs as well Sales Meetings and ensuring all details are complete in the GAC move system.
