Hanan El Abbassi

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying and recently completed a coding Traineeship. I am strong in Finance which I scored high in as a module of the PGdip in Quantity Surveying and feel comes more naturally to me as someone with a mathematical and scientific educational background. 

I am Microsoft certified in HTML and CSS having experience in web design and also certified in Python. In addition, I have a wealth of experience across many high profile companies extracting and manipulating data. 

I can get by in Arabic to above satisfactory level and can read in Arabic also.  I have some experience of Financial modelling on the QS course where we created a feasibility report using Excel using financial estimates and benchmarked data and research of the area for a hypothetical building of offices to let.

During my career in construction at Heathrow Airport as a cost manager, I have prepared monthly reports using advanced Excel with cash flows, actuals and accruals against several work flows and suppliers, as well as having prepared budget and financial reports for the client as part of Governance Gateways.

My completion of the coding Full Stack Developer traineeship, has allowed me to create 2 real-world web apps to specification with one being an employee relational database website, using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery and SQL, and the other a ‘mobile first’ website that provides profiling for all countries through the presentation of demographic, climatic, geographical and other data, making good use of third party APIs. 

I have strong data analytics skills as demonstrated during my PhD in experimental physics using linear regression modelling of charge of irradiated semiconductor materials to come up with a conclusion of the most suitable types of materials for use as low dose x-ray imaging devices.
