My name is Lawrence Robinson, Indian national. I am currently working as a Control Room Operator /Facility Operator Foreman with over eighteen years work experience in India and Middle East for oil and gas production facility (CPF), Treatment stations and Refinery.

I would like to apply for the Jobs for DCS Operator/ Field (CPF) Facility Operator in oil and gas field

DCS Control Room Operation :

• Principally consisting of operating the DCS system (ABB-800XA & Honeywell C-300) from the CCR to control the whole plants including startup, shutdown and maintaining their normal running conditions according to trends, alarm-logs and client’s requirements.
• Monitoring and operating the safety systems(CCTV, Manual Call point, Fire and gas alarm, etc.,)
• Keeping close knowledge about the trip logics and cause and effect diagram.
• Maintaining operational level, pressure, temperature etc by control valves and other rotating equipments.
• Communicating with the field operator for manual operations and visual checks in the field.
• Acting as a center of communication in case of any emergencies including activating the emergency siren.
• Preparing and updating the all the production related reports in a daily basis.
• Updating several data’s starting from the well head reading sample tests and maintaining all records.

Field Facility(CPF) Operation :

• Follow the Instruction given by supervisor, Assist supervisor for all main facility operations activities and recommend solutions to the issues related to design and operation.
• Startup and shutdown the equipment according to the instructions, safety orders and procedures.
• Prepare work permits in accordance with safety regulations and maintain the high level safe work practices under the circumstances of H2S.
• Regularly monitoring crude oil processing trains equipment including: Two phase/ Three Phase separators, Exchangers, Dehydrators(EDH), Desalters(EDS), Deaerators,Heaters and chemical pumps.
• Regularly monitoring crude oil processing trains, Gas Compressor Units, Fresh Water and RO Units, Fire Water Units, Diesel Tanks and Produced water systems(Buffer Tank, Skimming Tank, Sludge Tanks and Water Injection Tanks, Evaporation Ponds, etc.,) 
• Operate all type of pumps (Export pumps, Dehydration pumps, Desalting pumps, Recycle Pumps, Freshwater pumps, Firewater pumps, Firewater foam pumps, Closed train/ open drain pumps, KOD pumps, Pneumatic pumps, Jockey pumps, Booster pumps etc.,) , Air compressors (Utility Air, Instrument Air, Nitrogen skids), Heaters and HP and LP Gas compressors facility.
• Participate in shutdown activities by preparing equipment for maintenance and startup after work commencement and completion.
• Troubleshoot all problems related to operation equipments and follows up corrective actions where needed as instructed by supervisor. And reporting if any safety issues to the supervisor.
• Update accurate periodic operating reports and up-to-date logs, work permits, near miss and other records in the SAP system.
• Data collection (log sheets) of parameters such as, Pressure, temperature, level and flow rates on hourly basis through the entire plant.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for Preliminary Maintenance test (weekly and monthly basis).
• Work as a team with maintenance(MEP) department to solve all equipments operations technical issue.
• Monitoring and calibrating all chemicals, lubricant and fuel usage to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Suggest possible facility improvements to the supervisors.
• In the absence of supervisor, takes charge as on scene commander in case of emergencies like fire, oil/gas leak etc., and assist with supervisor for incident investigations and follow up actions.

1. Water & Gas Injection:

• Start up and shut down of multi-Stage centrifugal pumps through VSD Panel.
• Monitoring the differential pressure for the filter and cleaning or changing the filters.
• Flushing operations to maintain the flow line pressure.
• Periodical monitoring and changing of flow and pressure charts.           
• Inject high pressure dehydrated gas into well reservior.
• Operation & maintenance of multistage compressors, scrubber, intercoolers, after coolers.
• Start up & Shut down operations of compressor at gas injection unit.

1. Chemical Injection system:

• Handling various chemicals in the process of separation of water from crude oil and vise verse using demulsifier, reverse demulsifier,defoamer and pour point depressant.
• Injecting corrosion inhibitor and drag resisting agent as per the set target from the laboratory analysis. 
• Water injections chemicals such as biocide, oxygen scavenger, polyelectrolyte and scale inhibitor. Calibration of chemical injection,ensuring the chemical injection is as per the set target.

Skills/ Knowledge :

• Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to established work schedules.
• High safety awareness levels in normal and emergency conditions.
• Good verbal and writing communication skills [ English, Tamil(Native), Malayalam, Hindi]
• Computer skills (MS office, AutoCAD, Adobe CC, MAC, Windows)
• UAE and India Driving Licenses for light vehicles.

June - 1996 to June – 1999      Bachelor Degree In Computer Science with First Class
