Jana Abunasr

I’m a psychology graduate with several years of academic and volunteer experience in mental health and student support. I’m passionate about helping young people navigate emotional, social, and academic challenges while creating a safe and supportive school environment. My background in psychology, communication, and organizational behavior has strengthened my ability to connect with students, foster empathy, and guide them toward personal growth. I’m especially skilled in active listening, emotional regulation strategies, and building trusting relationships that empower students to reach their full potential.

I have experience across mental health, marketing, and digital content creation. I volunteered with EMBRACE, a non-profit organization, where I supported patient care coordination and mental health awareness initiatives. I also worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Bassatini Jewelry, helping develop promotional campaigns and strengthen brand identity. In addition, I’ve created digital content for lifestyle and wellness brands across the MENA region, aligning creative strategies with brand goals. These roles have strengthened my communication, organization, and interpersonal skills—qualities I now aim to apply in a school counseling setting.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Lebanese American University, where I developed a strong foundation in social, organizational, and communication psychology. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Psychology at Amity University Dubai, focusing on applying psychological principles to promote mental health and student well-being.
