Country Supply Planning Manager - Global Supply Chain                                                             (Mar’18 to Mar’21)

  • Responsible for deployment of the India product supply strategy through a complex supply network of 3 Plants, 3 fillers, 4 3Ps, 3 Hubs & 26 Distribution centers (DCs), driving network optimization, plant capacity utilization and inventory optimization while improving customer service
  • Led a team of finished goods supply planners responsible for production and imports planning, long term capacity planning, new product introductions & consumer promotion planning driving a world class 99% LFI

  • Planned and executed the vendor managstrategy for secondary transportation in line with the Customer Fulfilment strategy through RFQs, new inductions and vendor consolidations while improvingservice and cost efficiency 
  • Managed the Bill Processing Centre with an 8 member team, ensuring timely & correct payments for all contracts

    • Reduced country part truck loads from 27% to 20% and Delivered cost savings of $0.3mn in two years
    • Improved on-time payment processing from 90% to 98%, reduced process 2 errors from 5% to <1% through process improvements

  • ERP Change: Led the teams in Customer Fulfilment & Logistics in India and South Africa, liaising with an international project team to map current business processes to functional capabilities of the new ERP for a smooth transition
