Let me tell you a little bit about me:  I hold Ph.D. in Education and Master's degrees in English and Education. I have been in the teaching field for the past fifteen years of which, three years were at Arab Unity School, two years at The Westminster School and one year at The City International School, Dubai as an English Teacher, three years at Skyline University College, Sharjah as a part-time IELTS trainer. Moreover, I was also able to gain rich experience as a research associate on the research project on "mainstreaming low achievers” for an educational software company which gave me hands-on experience in dealing with young children. This experience has inculcated a strong desire to facilitate students in learning English Language skills that would help them in subsequent stages of their careers. Since last three years I had been working as an assistant professor in a degree college, Indian Academy Degree college, Bangalore which added more insight into English language and literature especially the vivid experience with the Masters students and in guiding them with their thesis work helped me to dive deep into the world of research. My ability to create clear and concise learning objectives, ability to communicate lessons in not only an effective way but in a fun manner and the knowledge of using innovative, appropriate and differentiated instructional methods were the prime reason for my promotion at my previous place of work.
