Key responsibities

Supervising a team with 5 members and driving them towards process efficiency; executing & monitoring year-end finalization, MIS Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Cash Flow Statement, TDS Returns, Taxation, Audits, Reconciliations, Balance Sheet, Inventory Management  Maintaining petty cash; invoicing and manging accounts on e-commerce platforms such as Noon, Amazon  Reconciling periodic accounts receivables, accounts payables, and bank statements  Drafting various reports such as net profit investment report, brand wise report, salesmen performance reports, stock ageing report, receivables and payables ageing report  Preparing VAT return file, monthly expense variance analysis report as well as ad-hoc reports as per management requirements  Reviewing & approving cheques along with other online payments, and all the documents related to the Bank Reconciliation along with purchase orders and sales invoices  Drafting MIS Reports such as project cash flow statement, budgets, and others  Supporting the Customer Service Department by providing customer receivable statements & outstanding reports for payment follow-up  Executing the accounting for VAT and availing reclaims/making payments; resolving tax queries from FTA in case of refunds  Tracking the expenses & compared with the approved budget  Maintaining the inventory levels of stock and finalization of stock statement for submission to bank and finalization of balance sheet with provision entry recorded in books of accounts  Performing reconciliations of general ledger, fixing asset maintenance, and cash flow control; administering the external audit information requirements for timely completion of audit schedules  Scheduling and executing monthly/quarterly/annual closures schedules; providing monthly financial statements and details to consultant for filing GST; administering the monthly closing process  Reviewing the P&L and balance sheet on a monthly basis as well as underlying account reconciliations to ensure integrity of the data and identify potential cost savings
