Underwriter, Property

- Primarily responsible for handling complex accounts exceeding the company's Underwriting Authority Limit by referring accounts to Regional Underwriters and Practice Leaders by completing referral documentation and providing recommendation in order to secure account approval.
 

- Responsible for assessing and pricing new business, renewal and endorsement requests in accordance with the company's underwriting guidelines and within the scope of the Delegated Underwriting Authority Limit.
 

- Responsible for controlling and monitoring accumulation of risks per area to ensure that exposure is kept to a minimum and are within allowed limits.
 

- Works closely with the reinsurance department in order to secure necessary facultative reinsurance support.
 

- Assists the Property Head in monitoring portfolio performance by analyzing data and preparing necessary reports as required by management.
