Key Responsibilities:

• Witness & inspect all Mechanical Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, (Static & Rotating) BOP Equipment’s (Pumps, Gears, Transformer, Circuit Breaker), and Steel Structural related installation/Erection works as per project specification, code & standards.
• Monitored step by step erection or installation of Gas turbine, Steam turbine, BOP Equipment’s work-status, comment and recommend from time to time so as not to endanger safety, productivity, and quality work requirements of the project.
• Assembling process followed and inspected from start to end of both Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Similarly their Generators Endshield Box up.
• Familiarization / review of project drawings, specifications, project standards and other pertinent document related to work.
• Conduct three 350MW GE Gas Turbines (9HA.01) and three 250MW ALSTOM Steam Turbines inspections as per GE approved ITP’s. 

1. Centre line Survey and check
2. Packer plate setting (Elevation checking)
3. Seating plate elevation, centreline, levelness. (Fixators checking)
4. On base location check
5. Provisional Alignment for coupling/bearing (Gap, Alignment, Clearance) checking as per API standards
6. Bolt tightening coupling / Casing
7. Valves installation checking (Stop valve, control valve) its clearance, assembly, and bolt tightening

• Perform inspection of all equipment (Static and Rotating) as per approved design. (Pumps coupling alignment, soft foot, shaft Run-out etc)
• Witness of hydro tests and pneumatic tests of piping.
• Follow up daily site activities and supervise site engineers at each step for smooth flow of project completion.
• Assist the site Supervisor/Foreman in the resolution of drawing interpretation.
• Interpret P&ID, Isometric drawings, Plan drawings, Foundation or Civil drawings, Vendor’s drawings etc.
• Support civil and electrical item inspection foundation checking, grouting and sample collection for compressive test, insulation resistance test, equipment’s preservations.
• Coordinate with other discipline Engineers and other sections as required to ensure smooth flow of information during the development and execution of the project.
• Control all inspection and test activities as per approved ITP, Method Statement and Procedure.
• Inspect all Piping, Structural and Equipment materials to assure that they are within tolerances, grade in quality as specified, properly stored and handled without any damaged
• Conduct structure 
• Raising RFI’s for each inspection item of work completed at site for witness/hold points to other party (Client)
• Prepare inspection reports, issue non-conformance, and analyse the root causes, and evaluate the proposed solutions
• To record, verify accomplishment and close Non-Conformance Report / Punch item that are raised by client/class at the stages of inspection prior to Endorsement for Testing/Mechanical Completion.
• Prepare daily progress report job list, check list, punch list and blind list.
• Review and record the materials test result and inspection result.
• To conduct fit-up, dimension inspection, welding visual check and request/review result/witness NDE inspection as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and to provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
• Check and identify preventive and corrective actions done at site.
• Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
• Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
• Coordinate with the customer’s QC inspectors for the resolution of site problems.
• Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specializations.
• Compiling of QA/QC documentations.
• Compliance with the site’s health and safety regulations.
• Prepare final Dossiers (End of Manufacturing Record/Site Work Conformance File & ECC Package)
• Maintain and control of all equipment/instrument’s calibration records.
