I’m a qualified ESL/EFL British national teacher. I hold a MA Postgraduate Degree in Applied Linguistics, a BA degree in Business Administration, and a CELTA certificate. I also have over 5 years of experience, 2 of which was in the Middle East, namely Saudi Arabia. I am available for immediate hire.
Experience
I am a qualified passionate ESL/EFL language instructor with over 5 years of English language instruction. I have taught students of various backgrounds including French, Indian, Italian and Middle Eastern. I have also taught numerous levels such as starter, elementary, pre-intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced levels. I am aware of the varying student needs and thus able to tailor lessons accordingly.
Education
My CELTA training gave me the initial exposure into the ESL/EFL world which has allowed me to teach in effective ways by incorporating technology in my lessons e.g., interactive smart boards, online educational quizzes, etc.
In addition, my teaching career grew further with the completion of MA degree in Applied Linguistics. The theory and application of various teaching styles such as Task-Based learning have enhanced my teaching capabilities such that I am able to deliver effective interactive lessons targeting speaking competency.
