About MAHMOUD AHMED GBLA:

I am an inspiring, self-motivate and dynamic Mathematics teacher with 10 years + experience in teaching at different levels both the UK and middle east curriculum. With a strong awareness and passion for children’s learning and development, I enjoy being part of, and encouraging inclusive education and promoting good positive learning techniques. Possesses exemplary planning skills and accustomed to operating under considerable pressure, remaining calm and effective and prioritizing wisely, excellent knowledge in interpreting curriculum such Cambridge, SAT and British National Curriculum. I have always had a passion for Ks3, Ks4 teaching and geared my studies and career in this direction as I feel it is extremely valuable to be helping children develop skills they can continue to use throughout their lives.

Experience

I have always had a love for numbers because they are constant and rarely are their exceptions to math rules. My love for mathematics goes back to my early childhood and I can remember being fascinated with counting. This continued as I progressed through school, and I decided that I would love to have a career working with numbers.

During college and university, I found out that I had an aptitude for teaching when tutoring schoolmates in secondary school. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education {Mathematics} and took some education and teaching classes too. I also obtained a three-year Higher Teacher [Diploma] Certificate in Mathematics, and Postgraduate Diploma in Education along with other professional development certificates. I have also achieved a master’s in education leadership and Management. I have been teaching for over eight years now at both primary and secondary level and I am ready to teach any grade. I possessed the attitude and aptitude of a leader and can operate under considerable pressure.

I feel I would be a great fit for your school because I love getting children and teenagers interested in math which many find a boring subject. Getting their attention in the technology age can be a bit of a challenge but I have come up with some entertaining and inventive ways to gain their interest. I use these technological devices as aids in my classroom to keep the students engaged and I have found that they respond well to this method.
