Mariam Alnaqbi

Having recently graduated from engineering school with a degree in
renewable energy and power and GPA 3.35/4. Power transmission and power systems
are my areas of expertise. With strong work ethics and a strong work
ethic, I am adept at working under pressure and am great at working in
a team. New challenges are always appealing to me. Currently, I am
working on improving my skills and expanding my knowledge. 

For Dibba hospital training program, We learned that engineers are responsible for the maintenance department. The maintenance department has three main sections: Electromechanical, Medical Equipment, and Maintenance. We learned about these different sections and learned about the systems in the hospital.
We learned about solar boiler system which is a new boiling system that has been implemented in Dibba Hospital since March 2022. The purpose of this system is to heat the water in the hospital and reduce the diesel usage in the diesel boiler.

We have also learned about two systems to get medical gasses into the hospital. The older way is using small tanks that are stored in a room. This way is also used in case of the other way had an error or needed maintenance. The other way of getting the gas is a huge liquid oxygen tank system.

The Reverse Osmosis System is also something that we learned about, it is also known as RO system is a water filtration process which reduce the impurities like dirt and particles from water.

We have also learned about sewage treatment plant which is a system that is used to make the hospital more sustainable by filtering and reusing the sewage water for irrigation.

for Etihad WE training we have learned about power plants which they are the source of electricity. To deliver this electricity to the consumers, the electricity needs to go through a certain process to reach them. First, generating that electricity. Second, transmitting it. Third, distributing electricity. To do this process it will need to go through the grid, grid consists of substations, transformers and power lines which will help improve the supplied power.

As for my education, I had my degree in electrical engineering. In my studies, we have focused in electrical power and renewable energy.
