I'm a Canadian (American qualified) with 16 years of experience leading International Private K12 schools in Asia and the GCC / Middle East.  I specialize in new school start-ups and school improvement projects.

I have successfully launched / founded and lead American, British (GEMS) and Canadian International K-12 & English Language schools in 10 countries. Prior to this I launched and ran my own Montessori style educational centre in Toronto, Canada. 

As a School Director I specialize in helping schools to develop an international perspective while growing their student base, improving best practices, modernizing the teaching and learning environment and creating an over “positive” school atmosphere while moving to a more international perspective.

In the last 10 years I’ve focused specifically on International schools in Asian and the Middle East / North Africa region; often with dramatic results. I have a depth of experience in a diverse, multicultural work environment.

My former career was as a Senior Project Manager in Fortune 500 Corporation head offices (IBM, Sprint PCS, Bell Canada, Canada Life, etc ) in Toronto and the USA.

I'm presently in Jeddah, Saida Arabia, but will be moving ASAP. Relocation is not an issue; and as a side note I also maintain a UAE resident status.

I have been a Founding Principal / School Director for over 15 years at American, British and Canadian International K12 and English Language Schools: having launched new schools and lead teams in 9 countries in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Business Work History: I am a also certified and an experienced IT Senior Project Manager and Business Process Manager, having lead huge business driven technology projects for 10 years with Fortune 500 companies in Toronto, CANADA and in the USA (IBM · Bell Mobility · Sprint PCS · TELUS Mobility · Canada Life); having lead two of the largest North America telecom projects in history, along with a wide & very diverse range of other technology projects.

Iam also a certified Martial Arts Black Belt Instructor anda Committee Member for Ontario Early Years Centre (PAC). I place a strong emphasis on youth physical and physiological development. I am also a Sports Ontario Certified Instructor.

I have excellentinterpersonal skills. Mypersonal development education has allowed me to develop and improve my skills dramatically in the area of communications and human relationships. This enhances my ability to identify and satisfy customerneeds and wants in a professional and efficient manner. I am a very pro-active manager, asking lots of questions and listening, while empowering those around me to take on responsibilities that are delegated to them with time-lines.
