Maryam Hafna

I am a final-year B.Tech student in Data Science and Engineering with a strong passion for data, technology, and problem-solving. Throughout my academic journey, I have worked on hands-on projects which have helped me develop skills in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and creating actionable insights. Beyond academics, I have taken on leadership roles, serving as the IEEE WIE Chairperson in my university, where I recruited and mentored members, organized events, and contributed to strategic initiatives that fostered collaboration and learning. I am curious, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to explore new challenges, work in collaborative environments, and apply my technical and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact.

I worked as an Information Technology Intern at Wade Adams Contracting (July–September 2025), where I built interactive Power BI dashboards by cleaning and modeling procurement data, implementing DAX measures to analyze spending trends, supplier performance, and recession-phase impacts. I gained hands-on experience with enterprise IT systems including BAAN, UniData, and IBM Notes, and participated in .NET system redevelopment meetings, contributing insights to optimize workflows and improve business processes.
