Merlis Lamoureux

With three years of experience as a teacher in Arts and Moral and Civic Education in the Canadian Francophone educational program and interested in practicing in the Emirates, I discovered that your institution is looking for a teacher in the Spanish language. 

I currently work as Executive Assistant for B2B2C consulting in Dubai, where I provide assistance to the exe Director and follow up and support to the corporate clients as well as administrating the company. 

I‘m a multilingual, multicultural, respectful, curious, ambitious  women and proud Golden visa holder who had the opportunity to work in different countries in embracing their culture.

Even though I do not have direct experience in teaching the Spanish language, it is my native language, and I graduated with a Spanish Baccalaureate. 

Spanish is also the language in which I did all my pre-university studies and have a year of studies in "French as a foreign language" at the Michel de Montaigne University in Bordeaux, France. 

I had the pleasure of teaching in the Francophone Canadian program for more than three years and greatly enriched myself through this experience. Working with children between the ages of six and eight has been an exciting discovery for me through children's eyes in today's world.

I also learned to master and channel group dynamics, even the most turbulent ones. More than imposing order, it creates an environment conducive to learning, respect for oneself and others, and sustained interaction with students that best describes my approach. 

I hope to have the opportunity to meet with you soon so that we can exchange in more detail about my experience, my motivation, and the contribution I could make to your Spanish teaching program, incorporating cultural elements of the language stemming from the Hispanic culture around the world.

Her profile includes several years in Corporate Accounts Management for the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris, Regional Sales Manager at Coralia, a Tour Operator division of the Accor Hotel Group in France, and Executive Assistance for the CamelBak International division in Belgium.

Merlis is multilingual and equally fluent in French, English, Italian, and Spanish native speaking.

She is currently based in Dubai, UAE, and is a proud Golden Visa holder.
