Manager Assistant & Agriculture Engineer in Plants Quarantine Branch & Seed Hygiene Testing Laboratory Agriculture Directorate - Tartous, Syria  Inspect Agriculture Consignments and identify weeds seeds accompanying the received samples to determine their types to ensure compliance with import requirements and issue results.  Responsible for inspecting the imported and exported plant consignments after checking the accompanying documents such as phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, and bill of lading.  Conducting visual examinations and sending necessary samples to accredited laboratories for required tests to issue the release permit with sensory input.  Responsible for plants protection and growth-regulating by monitoring pests and suggesting the best control measures to be used, biological or chemical (Pesticides)
