Prepare and present pre-opening process presentation to Owners and hotel operations team, explain the various stages and nuances of pre-opening, including the standard requirements and compliances that are required
Develop pre-opening business plans for all pre-opening hotels and assisting hotel GM, to establish first operational business plan
Conducting pre-opening meetings with Ownership & Project team and provide them with necessary inputs
Ensuring that the project and the operation team comply to all pre-opening processes, operational brand standards, insurance requirements etc.
Ensuring that the planning of all BOH areas are completed on time and in accordance with operational requirement, coordinating the same with the Facility Planning consultant
Coordination with all other disciplines within HR , timely execute pre-opening support, e.g. requesting to start the recruitment process for general manager .
Solely responsible for conducting the General Manager orientation for upcoming properties, ensuring that there is a fair amount of understanding in terms of the brand statutory requirements and all reporting formats
Using corporate templates for all pre-opening documents, which includes list of operating supplies, insurance checklist, pre-opening budget etc.
Develop the pre-opening budget for each hotel along with CFO, HR and Commercial Services
Coordinating with Technical Services and Development team to ensure homogeneity in pre-opening reporting numbers, and regularly update project status
Finalize OTA contracting, Finalize direct interface (Booking.com, and Expedia) and Sign CRS Contract.
Schedule Opera training with local support.
Review all hotel services and timings (e.g. Business Centre, Recreation facilities and services), note all services provided by other departments related to guests , Collect all information for initial Front Office Start Up manual .
Review and re write all hotel SOPs.
Receive all current BOB and prepare for PMS input.
Business mix actual trend, Identify competition .
Follow up room numbers signage as per the floor plans
