Iris Connect (March 2021 - current) Front End Engineer
Led platform front end rebuild to a React on Rails + Ts platform. Independently designed and developed platform UI wireframes and designs. Developed and authored UX/UI & FE tenets for the organisation. Project managed the rebuild by breaking down technical requirements and introduced a pull methodology to the FE Team. Introduced React Query & built Query hooks for API endpoints catalogue. Purged CSS and moved to full tailwind setup. The new platform increased sales & license renewals by 32% & 26%.
Unitag.io (Feb 2022 - May 2022) Full Stack Engineer
Next rebuild. Engineered the FE architecture from 0-1. Ensured all API endpoint payloads and responses were strictly typed for future developers. Created FE tenets for department. New platform increased performance by 32%, and sales & licensing increased by 22%.
Greenwich Design (Feb 2020- February 2021) Full Stack Engineer
Designed and developed clean & performant Vue, Vuex and express.js architecture with a view on developer usability. Re-organised and re-structured Babel config. Implemented efficient workflow systems and CD/CI tools. Developed 12 client facing platforms using Vue and React.
Shell (Dec 2019 - Feb 2020) Full Stack Engineer
Individually contributed to an in-house product catalogue system. Broke down technical requirements from the onset to decide most optimal framework. Developed a Vue SPA UI interface for the REST API. E2E testing done using Cypress.js. Worked hand in hand with Designers to impart informed FE decisions regarding UI.
CDL Software (July 2019 - December 2019) Front End Engineer
Contributed to front end development of aggregators for MoneySuperMarket and Daimler AMG’s Insurance Platform, with supervisory provisions of work for Sainsbury’s Bank and Tesco Bank. Developed and Unit tested User Journeys. Partnered with a senior engineers to migrate entire platform from Bootstrap V.2 TO V.4. Led and built a experimental fork of the platform in Vue and Vuex.
