Mustafa Rupawala

Working in Finance has been my goal for a long time, and I have made several life decisions which amplify the potential of my contributions to companies in that respect. This includes but is not limited to the long hours spent on competitions and events to build and develop my team skills, communication skills, public speaking, general confidence, and knowledge of the business community. I have interned under the accounting department, online marketing department and more of various companies which have built my overall understand of how any business operates which has expanded on my ability to work in a team. 

My extra-curricular apart, I have personally invested myself into trying to understand the intricacies and nuances of the financial market by studying various global economics situations such as the fluctuations in the confidence of the dollar, the 2008 recession, the collapse of the economy of Greece and more. Furthermore, I have invested money into various companies through an online investment platform to extend my understanding of the stock market and view it from the point of an investor. As a result, I have developed strong analytical and numerical skills to assist me in my endeavours. 

I have worked in several companies as are outlined in my CV and have worked under various relevant departments such as marketing, Human Resources, finance and accounting and even legal. Through these experiences I have understood the working of the business side of companies as opposed to the production side and all these companies are prominent in the UAE market as it includes companies such as GBM, Barakat, and more. 

I went to school at Gems Modern Academy and graduated with an overall of 96.6% in I.S.C. board exams with subjects of math, economics, accounting, commerce and English. I am currently in the University of Warwick in the UK studying Economics in the second year and passed first year with an upper second classification.
