Nasir Vohra

I am a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) with over 30 years of PQE.

Since 2011, I am a Dubai based Group Head of Accounting, Country Finance and Fiscal Compliance for the Chalhoub Group engaged in Luxury retail primarily within the Middle East with interests in Europe, South America, UK, and Africa.

Apart from my day-to-day responsibilities, my two main projects currently are:

• Establishing a shared service centre for Accounting in Jordan
• Setting up a formal tax and fiscal compliance structure as we move towards more challenging compliance requirements in the Middle East

Prior to Chalhoub, I was an Associate Partner for Assurance at Ernst & Young in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

I have also remained group CFO and CEO of a small public listed group.

I am a British national, by birth.
