Paula Deuna

My name is Paula Deuna and I am currently employed by Transguard Group as an Investigations Officer for the Professional Standards and Compliance Department. I am very proud to say that I am the first and the only investigator in the organization with over 60,000 employees. For the past year, I have been working independently, conducting investigations and presenting findings and recommendations to the Managing Director and Senior Director of HR on a weekly basis. Recently, I have been tasked to lead a group of senior managers who were chosen to be part of the PSC task force. 

The nature of cases I have dealt with includes theft, assault, recruitment scams, fraud, extortion, and data theft amongst others. I am familiar and comfortable communicating with site-based members or staff, up to the organization's chiefs and leadership team. In fact, as part of my role, I influence stakeholders and provide operational recommendations to business units to mitigate and address policy breaches.

I have worked in Human Resources, Security and Compliance functions in various organizations. My experiences have strengthened my skills in administration, problem solving, analysis and investigations. 

I have a bachelor's degree in International Studies, Minor in International Politics.
