  • Establishing SEND Department from the base, including developing SEND formats, introducing referral procedure, and admission screening.
  • Writing, reviewing, and updating IEPs for all SEND registered students, where appropriate in conjunction with outside agencies/centres. 
  • Planning effective intervention strategies to support SEND learners and their teachers, ensuring strategies are consistent between homeroom and single subject classes. 
  • Reviewing assessment data to monitor SEND student progress, identifying areas for further focus/development identified through written assessments.
  • Maintaining detailed SEN records including details of referrals, assessments, meeting agenda and minutes, recommended and agreed on interventions or further action, review schedules, and exit records. 
  • Identifying low achievers in the classes and helping teachers to support them within the classroom setting.
  • Supporting students according to their individualized needs.
  • Briefing and data sharing with inspection teams from the Shrajh education council as well as Sharjah private education authorities.
  • Actively participating and adding input in SEF (Self-evaluation form).
