About Rahul Mahajan:
Rahul is a globally awarded Creative Director and Design Innovator with more than 15+ years of experience shaping campaigns, cultural projects, and design innovations across India, Asia, and Middle East. His work has been honoured at the world’s most prestigious International & National stages, including multiple Cannes Lions (Gold, Silver, Grand Prix shortlist), Young Guns Gold, Grand Effie India, APAC Effies, D&AD-Kyoorius Black Elephant, and Goafest Bronze, establishing him as one of the rare Indian creatives with consistent global recognition in creative, design & technology.
He also secured All-India Rank 40th (96.08 percentile) in the IIT Bombay, CEED Examination for M.des. (The Master in Design), reflecting his strong academic foundation in design.
Beyond awards, Rahul’s career reflects a unique commitment to innovation and social impact. He conceptualised the “Sound of Sleep” by the Mtv India project for Visually Challenged Humans, an idea that was not only got Shortlisted among 100 most powerful ideas in The World for Cannes Lions but later published and recognised by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), giving it scientific credence and demonstrating the real-world application of the concept, bridging creativity with academic research and technological relevance.
Equally, his campaigns for Operation Smile India brought attention to children with cleft lip and palate, raising awareness and support for life-changing surgeries. By uniting storytelling, design, and empathy, he has demonstrated how creativity can transform both industries and communities.
With contributions at international forums such as the MIT Media Lab workshop and recognition as a mentor and judge at The One Show Bootcamp, Rahul continues to influence and inspire the next generation of creatives. Rahul has led multidisciplinary teams and built impactful work for global brands such as Emirates, Spotify, HUL, HP, Tata Motors, Campus, Triumph, P&G-Pantene and Cadbury. His ideas have been recognised with top honors at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Effies, Adfest, and Young Guns, reflecting his ability to merge creativity with strategy and cultural insight.
Now based in Dubai, Rahul continues to collaborate with agencies and startups, driving design-led innovation and storytelling that bridge culture, technology, and business impact.
