1. Prepares HSE Plan and Risk Assessments for as per the requirements and in consultation with the operations team.
2. Prepares and maintains daily site reports, and submittions of closeout reports to the
client and consultants.
3. Prepare reports on workplace occurrences(Incident, accidents, Near miss, property damage) and provide statistical information on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
4. Record KPI’s on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure continual improvement on any additional effective KPls to be added in the system.
5. Develops, implements and encourages the behavioral based safety culture in the organization.
6. Communicates information and awareness on the HSE Management System through various communication channels like TBT’s, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. in consultation with all relevant departments.
7. Inspection and processing of Work permits and ensure that they meet the standards before commencing works..
8. Implements standard and safe working procedure/policies to avoid safety issues and reducing risks at workplace.
9. Participate in planning/meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily daily activity.
10. Carrying out site HSE inspections and submitting statistics and keeping records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
11. Manages site clinic and ensures first aid and emergency equipment are always ready and available as per authority standards.
12. Keeping records of workplace injuries and occupational illness and conducting health surveillance. 13. Provides first aid treatment to injured or sick personnel and coordinates hospital referrals if needed. 14. Conducts Fire, earthquake, and emergency mock drills.
15. Conducts health awareness campaigns in cooperation with local health facilities.
16. Conducts Internal Audits as per approved audit plan.
