Worked as Project Engineer and coordinated all activities at the project site with the site engineer to accomplish the efficient and smooth implementation of project directives.

Performed quantity analysis, cost estimation & value engineering of the inquiries received from various contractors.

Developed and reviewed the scope of work and fabrication schedule and recommended corrections to the planning team at project commencement.

Reviewed contractor schedules in relation to procurement, installation, fabrication, and erection, and identified any potential delays or progress concerns. Develop MIS reports related to project progress and quality improvements to the General Manager.

Coordinated with the Main contractors on resolving issues on-site, clarifications on drawings, and any other aspects related to the project. Handling of pre-contract & post-contract works

Reviewed plans, specifications, drawings and cost estimates to identify and correct any errors, omissions, code violations or potential project inadequacies for review/correction. Supervised and checked the shop drawings prepared by AutoCAD draft persons.

Liaised with procurement manager, production manager, quality engineers, site engineer, vendors, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure all engineering activity was progressing as needed to ensure successful projects.

Prepared erection method statement/material submittals, RFI’s, CVI’s. Coordinated with Site Engineers on the day-to-day erection status.

Planned and intended the site activities to manage the technical support in terms of safety, quality, planning, and engineering. Led the cross-functional teams to achieve an optimal balance between cost, time, quality, benefit, and risk in projects.

Contributed to building a positive team spirit in the project team. Provided advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to subordinates and other junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goals.
