I am a certified International Medical Laboratory Scientist with Dubai Health Authority Eligibility. I am a generalist and a trained Histopathology technologist with more than 3 years of overall experience in a tertiary, teaching, research, and service-oriented laboratory in a ISO-certified government hospital that fosters dynamic environment; optimizes high quality, cost effective clinical tests for the overall betterment of the patients.

I started my professional career as a Registered Medical Technologist at Western Visayas Medical Center, the largest tertiary, ISO-certified government hospital in our region back in October 2019 as a generalist and later on as a Histopath technologist. I have performed routine and special laboratory tests in all departments of the laboratory (Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Special Serology, Microbiology, Clinical Microscopy and Parasitology, Blood Banking, Histopathology, Phlebotomy, Drug Testing and Bacteriological Water Analysis) and follow procedures in accordance to professional standards and guidelines to assist physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and preventing diseases. I have consistently employed systematic and methodical approaches to analyze results, troubleshoot systematic and random errors, establish procedures and use computers and specialized instruments for accurate and precise testing. I am a critical thinker and possess strong professional knowledge and skills. I am a team player, highly adaptable and always employ the highest level of professionalism and resilience in handling pressure and stress at work especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science at Central Philippine University back in 2018 and have passed the licensure examination for Medical Technology under the Professional Regulation Commission in the Philippines as well as the American Society for Clinical Pathologist International (ASCPi) state board certification.
