Professional Synopsis

I have been working as a Lead ELV Engineer in ELV/ICT with 15 years of experience which includes of Project Management, Design and supervision of Fire and emergency lighting system, Security System, IT/SCS,GRMS, Lighting control, Digital Signage, Access control system, Converged Network, Video wall, and communication cabling, Server room, Security control room, Telecom room and other ELV System based on client/project requirement

The project experience includes of Design, Supervision of construction works on site in Hotel, Hospital, Data center, Expo 2020, Hospitality and mixed-use development project.

Which includes Design Review, Technical Meetings, Material Submittal Review, Shop drawing Review, RFI Response, cost controlling and variation approval, Authority approval, Energy Management, subcontractor monitoring and controlling, Guides to project /site team for the technical clarification, Supervision of construction works on site, witness of testing and commissioning of each system as per design intent and client requirement.

Project Management Experience (Roles);

• ELV engineering support to the project to ensure all design works are compliant with the industry norms and that the contractor works complies with the specifications and the program.
• Liaising regularly with the client and Program Management team to resolve issues as well as regular site presence to manage progress. 
• Supervising and manage the design of the works to ensure they meet industry standards and incorporate stakeholder requirements. 
• Ensuring design provided meets the terms and conditions of the consultancy agreement and contracts.
• Planning, directing, supervising and controls the execution of all technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the ELV project and the site team. 
• Providing expert advice on the design of the relevant system packages from your knowledge gained in the field. (Design install commission experience) .
• Supervising and managing the contractors to ensure the works are constructed as per specification and to established milestone dates.
• Assigning responsibility to key subordinates in their respective fields of expertise.
• Presenting progress and package issues to client team
• Acting as the Company representative with the Client and Contractors during the project construction. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the Client and key subcontractors. Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project.
• Removing bottlenecks to delivery on behalf of the contractor.

• Working with other managers, project engineers and discipline Heads to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of the project.
• Monitoring and reports to management on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost, schedule, performance or Client relation.
• Review and provide comment on technical documentation, program and procedures from ELV engineering perspective, to ensure the integration of proper end-user requirements and systems efficiency.
• Prepares Statement of Requirements (SOR), feasibility studies and design packages for modification and up-gradation works as required and as per the operational requirement of the Department pertinent to ELV Engineering works.

Carries-out Technical Bid Evaluation and involves in Mid-Tender/Clarification meeting with Contracts Department and Contractors for all routine ELV engineering contracts for all facilities so as to ensure that the contractors are fully conversant with the maintenance/ modifications scope of works, schedule and quality

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communication from Anna university.
