Sikha Mohanty

                                           My name is Mrs. Sikha Mohanty and I have completed my M.Sc., in Biotechnology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar,Odisha.

During my Master's studies, I have been engaged in research work on the topic of "Molecular Characterization of Plasmodium falciparum” in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

In 2012 I did one project on Purification and Characterization of Antibody against FAS Protein with Imgenex India, Bhubaneswar. 

Recently, I have also worked on a research project on the Burden of UTI among pregnant women, especially E. coli in Odisha at "Indian council of medical research- Regional medical research center, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India which in process of publication.

The majority of my investigations center on disease prevention and its control.

• Paper Published: Probiotics for Sustainable Agriculture Prospects and Challenges accepted for publication by AMA (AMA-01-06-2022-11426)
• Completed Research on the Burden of UTI among pregnant women, especially E. coli with ICMR, Bhubaneswar, Odisha from July to Sept 2022. (to be published).
• Completed Project on Purification and Characterization of Antibody against FAS Protein with Imgenex India, Bhubaneswar, Odisha (June to August 2012.)
• Completed Project on Molecular Characterization of Plasmodium falciparum ICMR, Bhubaneswar, Odisha from Oct 2003 to Jan 2004.
• Completed: General Course on Intellectual Property (February 1 to March 22, 2007) and Advanced Course on Biotechnology and Intellectual property (April 24 to July 13, 2007) Under WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) Academy.
