Experience

Project Management

  • Lead multidisciplinary projects within IT Department and in-line with priority
  • Estimate timelines, measure risk and devise mitigation strategies for identified risks
  • Prepare project plans (Agile-Scrum) and continue the delivery of the various IT projects being undertaken
  • Building the product roadmap, identifying the epics, building user stories, and acceptance criteria. Making and managing business requirement documents, and flow charts. Reviewing the product before rollout and approve the overall build.
  • Update and track progress against the baseline and manage the timely delivery of the projects
  • Manage expectations for the delivery of the project and escalate issues on deadlines in a timely manner to senior management to enable appropriate corrective action to be taken.
  • Prepare Status Report to be presented to the relevant project sponsor
  • Meet agreed deadlines and adhering to project time scales
  • Facilitate the management of the portfolio of IT projects. This includes identifying dependencies between projects, particularly in respect of resources, and the reporting of program level issues and risks

Business Analysis

  • Understand the needs of the Business Units and Business Partners, including business workflows, functional specifications, and high level technical specifications (if required). This can include preparing prototypes and wireframes as well.
  • Prepare requirements, functional specifications document, business processes and recommendations. Create use case diagrams, screen mock-ups, acceptance test scenarios.
  • Understand and document system deficiencies identified by customers and recommend solutions
  • Prepare and maintain consistent user interface specifications
  • Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
  • Participate in the review of Functional, design, and test documents with other software colleagues when required 
  • Keep up-to-date technically and regulatory changes and apply new knowledge to the preparation of business and specification documents

Change Management

  • Act as a single point of contact and ensure that consistent methods and processes are used for the effective and timely handling of all IT changes in order to reduce the business effect of any relevant incidents
  • Ensure that all changes are managed in accordance with the Change Management Process across in scope environments, and covers the addition, modification or removal of authorized, planned or supported IT service its associated documentation
  • Identify and mitigate risk exposure through change impact evaluation
  • Reduce the adverse impact of changes on a live environment, and on the quality of services
  • Ensure that all changes are managed as planned within the timescales agreed with the change requester
  • Organize Change Advisory Board Meetings (CAB), ensure agenda and reports are issued to participants in good time
  • Review, monitor, and communicate the progress and outcome of changes to all relevant parties

  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
