I worked in OEM Company - Manufacturing Company, Client Company / Operator and also in EPC / EPCM and PMC projects.

Petrofac International Limited / Principal Project Engineer :

• Participate in development and review of the project planning process and create a schedule.
• Generate technical document register (TDR) and ensure that all relevant data required for construction is contained in it. Monitor the issue of drawings as per the forecast dates mentioned in the TDR in line with overall project schedule.
• Pivotal role for finalizing the purchase requisition (PR) from engineering and other stake holders.
• Coordination with clients on approvals and instructions, attend client meetings and liaise with client on all issues of the project deliverables.
• Ensuring issuance of Pos by procurement in timely manner and as per the final PR and project procurement plan.
• Oversee the entire aspects of project delivery management of static & rotary equipment, packages, and bulk material in compliance with Project Philosophy and Procedures including HSE requirements.
• Monitor execution within the cost and schedule baselines and corrective actions whenever required to align with the baselines.
• Steering post award kick off meeting with various vendors to align with Supply Chain Policies, Process and Procedures.
• Consistently monitoring execution and progress of Orders and take corrective actions as required to align with overall project schedule and project objectives.
• Handling the project interface and combine all project-related activities with associated groups (engineering, procurement, quality control, fabrication shop and logistics) for proper integration and execution.
• Review of detailed schedule for fabrication and assembly with suppliers including sub supplier’s schedules. 
• Coordinate change management, whenever required in line with the project management plan.
• Risk review at various stages of project and updating of risks register for overall project.
• Pivotal role in resolving the potential issues (by involving subject matter experts) related to engineering, quality that may affect project objectives. 
• Accountable for plan field visits and inspection requirements at supplier’s shop; ensure follow ups and inspections are as per the ITP. Monitoring team of field expediting and inspection engineers.
• Review the flash report from field inspection team, resolving an area of concerns, coordinate for the inspection and shipping process for the timely dispatch of goods before consignment readiness.
• Supplier invoice verification and approval for timely payments as per the agreed milestones.
• PO closeout, LD applicability/waiver proposal and conclusion with supplier’s final payment and supplier performance evaluation.
• Assist procurement group in vendor evaluation and selection for future orderings.
• Participate to identify areas for improvement and adding value to project knowledge management.

Reliance Industries Limited / Sr. Manager - Inspection and Expediting

• Vendor development and supply chain management, Inspection and Expediting for a leading Cross Country Natural Gas (NG) Pipeline Project in India: East-West Gas Pipeline Project ~ 48” Dia-API5L Gr X70 PSL2, internal and external coated pipeline from Kakinada to Dahej (1400 km).
• Review and approval of inspection and test plans for line pipe fabrication and internal and external coating (Epoxy and 3LPE Coating).
• Pre-production meetings with the Line Pipe suppliers to ensure alignment of manufacturing process with project specification.
• Attending first day production meeting and validating the process in line with the approved ITP for starting the Line Pipe production.
• Attending the procedure qualification test for internal and external coating (Epoxy and 3LPE) for Line Pipes and validating the process for starting of the coating application.
• Reviewing daily production status of the suppliers in line with the site construction plan, resolving the quality/technical issues surfaced during line pipe fabrication and coating application.
• Leading team of QC engineers; deputed at the Line Pipes manufacturers; regular audits to ensure adherence to approved procedures. 
• Procedure approval for Line Pipes hot induction bending and monitoring the progress of fabrication and resolving the issues surfaced at supplier end.
• In addition to this conducted Inspection and supply chain management of ERW pipes, extruded pipes and fittings, different types of valves, air coolers and other static equipment etc.
• Frequent visits to overseas vendors in China, Japan, UK, Europe, and India for the inspection, monitoring and surveillance audits for bulk material purchases.
