Sulagna Dutta

I am Dr. Sulagna Dutta, a Physiologist and Researcher, and I am reaching out to you earnestly looking for a faculty position in Physiology or related Biomedical Sciences, in your esteemed University. I would like to mention that I am currently residing in the U.A.E. and enthusiastic to join immediately.

My main research interests are Immunology and Reproductive Physiology. I have published over 100 research articles and book chapters, and edited several special issues for peer-reviewed journals. My current Scopus h-index is 26 and I have been ranked among the World's Top 2% Scientists by the Stanford University, USA for THREE consecutive years, 2020, 2021 and 2022. I have also been ranked 3rd as Infertility Research Expert in Malaysia in 2020, 2021 and 2022, by the ExpertScape.

I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching Physiology and Biomedical Sciences to Undergraduate and Post graduate students in Malaysia and India, and also have been shouldering various administrative roles. I have been a Senior Lecturer in Physiology and Head of Faculty Research as well as the Coordinator for a Masters' programme in Applied Medical and Dental Sciences in MAHSA University, Malaysia, and my contribution to the University has had me procure the 'Highest Publications Award' in 2019 and 'Best Researcher Award' in 2022. I am currently a Visiting Scientist at the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), India.

My core subject is Physiology (B.Sc. with Physiology Honors, M.Sc. in Physiology with Specialization in Immunology and Microbiology, and earned PhD in Physiology (Immunology and Microbiology Lab, University of Calcutta). I extended my research later to Reproductive Medicine, and I have also pursued Research Internship from the American Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM), Cleveland Clinic, USA.

Recently (in September 2022) I had to move to UAE for my family and I am looking forward to continue with my career in teaching and research, which have been my life always. I am prepared to join immediately or as per the need of the University.
