About Tammy Kay Wint:
With extensive experience in early years education, both in nursery classrooms and as a governess supporting children from infancy to school age, I have developed the skills, creativity, and nurturing approach needed to create an inspiring, secure, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 0–4.
Over the years, I have successfully planned and delivered engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS curriculum, ensuring each child’s developmental needs are met. My approach blends structured learning with imaginative activities—storytelling, sensory exploration, outdoor play, and creative projects—that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth. I am also well-versed in observing, recording, and assessing developmental milestones, enabling me to tailor strategies that foster progress for every child.
In addition to my qualifications in child development and a CACHE Level 3 equivalent, I bring a strong background in building trusting partnerships with parents. I believe early education works best when teachers and families collaborate closely, sharing insights and celebrating milestones together. My work with both nurseries and private households has strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles, cultural contexts, and family needs while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
