About Zanele Shezi:
I am very patient, flexible, and open-minded. I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes as this is part of the learning process am really focused on building as much confidence with my students as I can. I have seen a lot of my students get frustrated during classes because most of them English is not their native language and as a teacher, I want to make sure that they feel relaxed and comfortable learning and speaking English.
Experience
I am a committed, approachable, and caring teacher who believes in making a difference in the lives of my learners. I am patient, and always willing to learn and adapt to different situations. I have been teaching English, grade 7and 8, IB, for almost a year (10 months). In my previous school I was teaching English and Geography, Life orientation for 2 years in the secondary school, from grade 10 to 12, South African curriculum (CAPS-Curriculum Assessments Policy Statements. I taught for 4 years and 6 months with a 90 to 100% pass rate in English, and a 75 to 95% pass rate in Geography. Life Orientation 100% pass rate.
