Duties:


The primary purpose of this "When Actually Employed (WAE)" position is to provide administrative, secretarial and clerical assistance to various requesting offices on short notices to cover staffing gaps or to help complete special projects.

Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Officer and the direct supervision of respective section heads, the incumbent will be required to perform a wide range of temporary duties, as needed.

These may include, but are not limited to, preparing letters, telegrams, memoranda and reports; receiving and distributing incoming correspondence and mail; answering phone calls; scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars; reporting time and attendance; escorting visitors; backfilling for the newsletter editor and Office OMS.

Incumbent must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining a Secret clearance.

Note:
All applicants must currently hold or be able to acquire a UAE residency visa to fill the position. For non-UAE national, the Mission assists in obtaining the required residency visa to lawfully work in the UAE. Ref.

One year of experience in office management/administrative work is required.
