    Description

    Our client one of theworld s leading sports resorts is looking for an InternalAudit Manager to join their team based in Abu DhabiUAE.

    TheInternal Audit Manager will provide effectivesupport to the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) / Audit Committee andcarry out assigned audits and supervise Internal Auditors. Toprepare analyses reviews and assessments on the corporategovernance risk management and Internal control structures of theorganization and carry out implementation of the auditplan.

    Duties&Responsibilities

    • Preparethe allocation of the resources available to each phase of theauditassignment
    • andreview the work allocation to ensure that the team assignedpossesses the requisite knowledge skills and other competenciesrequired to complete the auditassignment.
    • Supervisethe execution of the internal audit plan through regular visits anddiscussion with theCAE/AC
    • Provideappropriate instructions and guidelines to the staff during theexecution of the audit assignment to achieve the auditobjectives.
    • Participatein the development of the training program forstaff.
    • Ensureproposed job training is being conducted asrecommended.
    • Preparationof the Internal Audit Plan to cover audits of relevant systems andprocedures
    • acrosstheorganization.
    • Ensurethere is a sound governance system within the department andpreparerelevant
    • documentsas needed (IA methodology Strategy KPI s Audit Plan Resource Planetc.)
    • ConductRisk Assessments to prioritize the plannedreviews.
    • Visitvarious departments and locations to meet personnel and reviewsystemsand
    • controlsbeingimplemented.
    • Studyand review various aspects of the organizations internal systemscontrolsand
    • proceduresand assess their soundness adequacy and application of accountingfinancial IT administrative and operatingcontrols.
    • Participatein reviewing resources utilization to assess their economical andefficient use and the extent to which assets are safeguarded fromloss.
    • Assistin reviewing the reliability and integrity of managementinformation developed within the organization and the effectivenesswith which this information ismanaged.
    • Monitorcompliance of internal systems and procedures with the recommendedorganizational policies relevant laws agreements andregulations.
    • Interactwith external auditors to ensure effective audit coverage asinstructed byCAE/AC.


    Requirements

    • Masteror bachelor s degree in accounting or equivalent preferably Mastersin relevant discipline preferably relevant industry certifications(e.g. CA CPA CIAetc.)
    • Minimum810 Years of relevant audit experience (including internal audit)from which 24 years at manageriallevel.
    • Mustbe able to deal with workrelated deadlines accountabilities andresponsibilities
    • Mustbe able to work under frequent job pressure generated by short andinflexibledeadlines
    • Mustbe able to work independently and under timeconstraints.
    • Mustbe based inUAE
