Job summary
The Strategic Partnership Officer will support the development and strengthening of institutional relationships with strategic partners including DFIs EXIM banks government ministries and commercial banks.This includes assisting in executing co-financing arrangements strategic alliances and joint initiatives to expand ATFPs market reach enhance its resource base and support the achievement of its mandate.
The role involves identifying engaging new institutional partners aligned with ATFPs strategic objectives as well as supporting relationship management activities with existing partners ensuring regular communication updates alignment on joint initiatives coordinating meetings partnership forums workshops with DFIs government agencies financial institutions to foster collaboration opportunities maintaining detailed updated records of partnership engagements agreements activity outcomes structuring negotiating co-financing arrangements gathering relevant information preparing required documentation liaising internal teams credit legal risk ensuring alignment partnership arrangements operational frameworks tracking monitoring progress partnership projects joint initiatives timely follow-up resolution issues conducting research analysis potential partners market trends regional trade initiatives identifying strategic opportunities preparing periodic reports on partnership development activities progress co-financing arrangements key engagement metrics contributing insights recommendations strengthening ATFPs partnership network enhancing market positioning ensuring adherence ATFPs internal policies governance frameworks procedures all partnership-related activities supporting cross-functional collaboration maximize impact partnerships trade finance origination promotion activities contributing building high-performance collaboration-driven culture Department.
