    Description
    • Caring for newborn infants untilthey are ready to go home.
    • Providing prenatalcare for high-risk infants.
    • Assisting inpremature or problematic deliveries, and helping if complicationsarise or if medical attention is necessary immediately afterbirth.
    • Providing support to parents and helpingthem to understand and make decisions regarding theirinfant's condition andtreatment.
    • Ensuring parents have sufficientopportunities to bond with theirinfants.
    • Conducting research and clinicaltrials.

    Requirements

    • A Medical degree in Neonatology andthe successful completion of a residency andfellowship.
    • A license and certification topractice Neonatology.
    • The ability to work underpressure and stress.
    • Strong communicationskills and patience and empathy towards patients and theirfamilies.
    • Strong dedication and motivation forhelping newborn infants.
