    Description
    • Responsible for accurate reportingand forecasting on phase/project status including schedule, budget,quality, productivity, risks and other project performanceindicators as applicable Study the Client Specification(s)/Drawings/Contract and participate in preparation/approval ofProject Plan.
    • Determine Yard obligationsagainst Contract and ensure implementation ofsame.
    • Participate in Construction Methodologypreparation at the initial stage and also during the projectexecution as required.
    • Coordination withvarious Yard Departments and Subcontractors on daily basis forachieving the daily targets in line with projectschedule.
    • Application of effective planningtechniques in order to meet project milestones and planned budget,including both execution and logistics.
    • Monitorand report productivity, schedule performance and budget targetsrelated to area of responsibility.
    • Identifyvariations from the original Contract Specification/Drawings andco-ordinate with Project Commercial to raise variationorders.
    • Maintain professional relationship withClient site team and manage theirrequirements.
    • Identify and asses risks at anearly stage in order to avoid failures in projectexecution.
    • Prepare periodic project reportingto DWD Senior Management and Client.
    • Close outproject documentation.
    • Conduct/participate inLessons Learnt Meeting during and at the end of Project, documentand follow up implementation of same.
    • Performother job related duties as assigned by the sectionhead.

    Technicalcompetencies:

    • ComputerProficient MS Office, MS Project
    • Ability toread and interpret technical drawings for ships, off shorefacilities and equipment/machinery
    • Ability toapply Project Management techniques.
    • Ability toprepare construction specification and methodstatements.
    • Ability to focus on multipleobjectives.
    • Good Leadershipqualities.
    • Good knowledge of up to dateshipbuilding and offshore constructionprocess.

    Education

    • Bachelordegree in Naval Architecture Mechanical orsimilar

    Experience

    • 5years of Shipyard experience preferably in NewBuilding.
